The last time I went to a stylist (right at the end of 2019), that idiot tried to shave my head (no, really). As soon as I told her I didn't want a razor anywhere near my hair, she rolled her eyes and told me it was her job to make me brave enough to get an undercut.

Bitch sent me home with a Karen haircut that took me six months to grow out and fix. I cut my own hair now and I look better for free than I ever did for a chunk of change every six weeks.

TL:DR: there's as good a chance this poor girl's stylist suggested this haircut.

No, that's not her job. Her job is to give the customer what they want as competently as she is able. What a weirdo, 'it's my job ...'
