In the UK they made it so that trading platforms who allow crypto to be traded with leverage are breaking the law, essentially making it slower for experienced traders to make money, as well as shitty tax rules that fuck you on every transaction.

So now some people use a VPN and an offshore broker that does not require KYC (prove your identity). This makes all your exchange money nearly impossible to tie to you.

If they cannot let traders pay sensible taxes, then they will choose to become invisible and pay none.

People in the USA are already doing this too by the way.
