Great post. Saved. Been low carb for over a decade (with mistakes along the way). Today we just basically eat ground beef, bacon, eggs, and cheese. Zero issues with "food variety." The only veggies we eat are in a mayo dip we make with cilantro and jalapeno. And perhaps an occasional pickle or two.
Going low (or zero) carb is the single easiest way to control appetite and improve mental clarity. Also - a permanent fix - not a "roller coaster" like every single other fad or trend.
For sure! Another tip to share with everyone is that "snacking" is a non-issue. The only time you're truly "hungry" or "peckish" (outside of normal periods) is when you might exert a LOT more fuel than you've consumed (exercise, house work), and have "tapped out" your bodies ability to get fuel from stored body fat.
In those cases - we just use our stored supply of leftovers (usually cooked bacon or other meat leftovers).
The entire snacking "need" and industry is based on the high-carb blood sugar spike that causes it.
If everyone was zero carb or carnivore - the whole snack food industry would collapse overnight.
