Flank them and EMP the LRADs from behind. It will have the secondary effect of destroying their personal communication radios.

I’ll bet that those massive capacitors used in high-powered car stereos could be used in man-portable EMP devices…

The capacitors used in the obnoxiously loud car stereos claim to be in the range of one farad. This is a vast amount of energy that if released suddenly through an inductance will have the desired result. The inductor can be a coil of small diameter copper tubing.
