People need food and shelter. Pay off ur home, don't buy anything only what you need, and food.
Savings that are safe? Hmmm absolutely everything has had a run at one time or another, not in a good way. Pensions and 401K's have been robbed for decades. Metals market is just not for everyone.
So as a whole and a people we cannot live without food and shelter.
Pay off your house, control your own investment. Mine is a VW Camper Bus in the garage. It will only go up in value and it's sitting at 40,000 right now. I will not pay taxes on the investment again when I disperse the funds to myself later, as my spouse's 401K turned into an annuity, at this time. So with very little we have a lot of fun....
I would rather have a home, a garden, and livestock with a source of water- with enough ammo to protect it- than silver any day, assuming an off the rails situation.
