He was competent enough to case the joint, get in, remove the child and stab him to death. He even came back for the twin brother but got spooked and left without him because he didn't want to get caught.

He also walked in another man's house and tried to walk out with his 2 year old granddaughter. The grandfather stopped him and in a store he later walked up to apologize for that. https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2021/05/27/darriynn-brown-cash-gernon-homicide/

I suspect they're using the race card here. Sick or not, he needs to be executed.
