She used to be considered hot shit pre-scamdemic for her Quilette “think tank” which was just occasional fairly decent centrist writings from intellectual chatterati types. Jordan Peterson, Sam Harris, Jonathan Haidt, Douglas Murray, James Lindsay, back when woke, CRT, gender issues etc were the only big crises before the world’s omni-present evil exposed itself. And like so many of her ilk, she completely misstepped and exposed her ignorance and denial about the overt totalitarianism taking place around the world. Just smart, liberal intellectual uber-normies so cushioned to not understand how the world really works.
