Patel is a common Indian (Hindu) surname, meaning roughly "village leader," originating from Gujarat. It is an occupation-based surname, analogous to "Smith" in English. Not everyone who has it is related to the rest.

That would be for Kash Patel. PatelPatriot is only a nom-de-plume.
