They're psychopaths and they don't think what they do is wrong. In fact, they are so proud of their evil they are like evil supervillains in movies and they want monologue just so you know how "smart" they are.

In many cases their spirits were broken by satanic ritual abuse from the time they were toddlers. Don't expect them to be anything like normal human beings with souls and compassion.
