My best friend in college was a lovely guy from Ghana who was given a contaminated polio vax and got it. The pain and suffering he endured daily was horrific. There is a special place in hell reserved for those responsible. Evil beyond belief.

Thank you for that, This is a pet peeve of mine, Elemental Mercury, is mostly harmless, but as part of certain organic compounds, is toxic and deadly. It's a pet peeve of mine, because Elemental liquid mercury is now extremely expensive due to uneducated paranoia about it
