Kind of like when I was a kid, our neighbors had a dog named "Windy' who was allowed to run around free like the rest of the dogs in the neighborhood. (We didn't have fences separating our houses back then. She was a tiny little thing and when she was in heat, the neighbors would put her outside in a little chain link corral to 'keep her safe', but out of the house. A whole line of neighborhood dogs literally queued up and took turns getting to her through the chain link fence! She'd just back herself right up to the fence and they'd get right in there. We kids watched in wonder and disbelief. She birthed a big litter of all different kinds of dogs that were different breeds and colors. Amazing.
