I don’t disagree, we are called slaves of righteousness, but as you stated and quoted, God makes us sons and joint heirs of the almighty God!
Romans 6:18
[18] and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.
Paul then goes on to say how he is speaking in human terms for our understanding. I hope my comment, along with additional reply I gave helps expound on that difficult topic of explaining what it means and why it is good to be a slave in some sense.

Yeah and slave in their context is a little bit more like an indentured servant.
It’s good to be so tied to righteousness. I certainly don’t really feel the desire to do wrong. It just isn’t appealing. It’s not involuntary or against my will. It’s naturally who I am as a servant and friend of God. I’m one of His people.
