They're on newsmax right now saying missiles are hitting the city yet there's nothing going on in the live streams. They're not wearing any tactical gear, so they don't seem too concerned. They also said Russia has attacked the airport in Kiev so they can take it over and bring in more troops. This reminds of the fake CNN coverage where the news reporter puts on a gas mask and helmet claiming he's in Kuwait being attacked by Saddam Hussein. This is strange.
Update: It looks like Russia's Defense Ministry has admitted to striking military infrastructure in Ukraine:
"The Russian Armed Forces do not carry out any missile, air or artillery strikes on the cities of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense told RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced in his address to the Russians this morning that he had decided on a special military operation in the Donbass. The head of state noted that Russia's plans do not include the occupation of Ukraine, but Moscow will strive for its demilitarization. The military infrastructure, air defense facilities, military airfields, aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are disabled with high-precision weapons," the agency said. Nothing threatens the civilian population, assured the Ministry of Defense."
Also, the UN security council is live right now declaring that Russia announced their invasion and declared war on Ukraine. They might be getting ready to make a huge move.
Seems like there were power cuts to the city, with lights going dark in the cityscape background live behind some of the reporters giving their reports and statements around 6:40ish am local time. The airport which is some distance away from the center of the city where the journalists are has had explosions according to multiple reports - dont know if its a civilian or military specific one but that distinction doesn't really matter at times like now.
It happened at exactly 6:30 and even the reporter corrected the host and said that the lights go off automatically every morning at that time. I don't trust the reporting I'm hearing just yet. It seems they're overblowing the situation. I hope I'm right at least.
I'm also guessing the explosions that were heard were not Russian military attacking Ukraine. There are many players on this battlefield.
Noted - I thought it was a little bit later than that but wasnt paying particular attention to the time. Also reporters were talking up all the 'cyberattacks they have seen'. They were vague about this and said some websites were unavailable.
Pretty sure that if Russia was serious about any attack, that all comms anywhere would be down. Telephony, internet, satellite stuff, relay towers, all the backbone cables and routers.. all would be busted. What puts it to a lie is all the reporters seemingly able to stream all their live broadcasts just fine, no apparent comms down anywhere.
Looking at the cams you don't see a lot of fighting going on.

Here's another good view:

Looks like morning traffic as usual.
Ukraine owns Kiev for another 72hrs.
The writings on the wall.......Ukraine shelled Donetsk for another 24 hrs.
Russia goes within 24hrs, takes Donetsk and Kharkov within 48hrs, Khiev within 72hrs.
Still time for a gofundme to save hunter biden's ukrainian whores. Hey.....I'd chip in a buck, unlike hunter. There's a story story there.
Ideally it ends with his head on a plate in the Senate.
That was the standard for justice in the Roman Republic.......
Ukrainian officials are already reporting casualties.
Whatever they have they'll burn through at Donetsk and Kharkov within 48hrs.
Open road to Kiev after that.
Lack of invasion has that effect
