kek that expression died a gruesome death years ago along with trust in the news

remember, before today virtually no one in America had ever heard of "Lugansk People’s Republic" and "Donetsk People's Republic" either

so abbreviating them is not helpful to conveying info to max number of readers in case that was a goal
