How do we know this image was taken recently?

I also doubt military aircraft (or even civilian aircraft) show up on civilian tracking websites during wartime because that would guarantee they'd become targets.

Some will, some won't. NATO will typically. But this looks like a shot of commercial flights, though I can't be certain.

I wouldn't anticipate all of them being visible. I get fly overs all the time that do not show on radar.
