Same. Apparently - I read a long time ago, it come from bartenders telling belligerents to mind their pints and quarts way back in the day for the same reason. Then shortened to what it is now.

Oh no I for sure do. I just read it originally a long time ago meant mind your pinta and quarts and they would say it to people getting to drunk.

Now it's just used to be like mind your manners, but the p and q stands for pints and quarts.
