Perhaps there is some very important DS installation in Taiwan, and Xi gets to take it out. Banks? Spyware chips? More biolabs? Or China will appear to assault, as a FF to trigger something else.

My guess is its the compromised chip factories that are putting spy chips into electronics.

There's already news reports that IF China invades, the Taiwanese will blow these fabs up before letting China "take them"
