Agreed. Now is the time for American citizens to hold our congressional members accountable for the potential violation of our constitution by a president (unlawfully elected) who is entertaining the idea of bypassing the war powers authority granted to congress by our constitution.
We need to change the narrative away from the idea that a president can legally order military action, to the reality that any decisions regarding the use of military force needs to be authorized by the lawful representatives of the American people- congress, through a formal declaration of war.
That conversation is 70 years overdue, and now is the time to put an end to the lawless warmongering that congress has allowed past presidents to get away with for decades.
