A Democrat President would still stand if the House was 75% Red and the Senate was 75% Red. They couldn't actually force him to resign.
However, with that large of a majority, it would be an easy task for the House to Impeach him and then have the Senate 'convict' him to get him removed from office. The same thing could be done with the VP. If both are done at 'mostly the same time', then the Speaker of the House would be 'installed' as the new President.
Just my opinion, but I think the Speaker's Gavel is dependent on the level of the massacre. If Republicans totally obliterate the Dems, then there's a very good chance that Trump will be chosen as Speaker.
However, if it's a good increase but not a Super Majority, especially in the Senate, then a good, conservative House member should/would be chosen.
BUT, in no circumstances what-so-ever, should swampy RINO McCarthy be chosen.
