You are right. It does apply to every-one. And yes, since we have eyes, we should ask questions.
However, what i am pointing towards is the tendency that we think we know things because of past experience, or because it confirms our bias.
Symbols and signs have been used for millennia to convey ideas, however, what idea exactly, is left to those in the know; exoteric vs esoteric.
