That isn't the first time she has shown herself capable of being confused.

I mean putin is prolly a murderer, but ukraine is too...and ukraine is also a cesspool of corruptions, money laundering and cyber attacks and human trafficking and...

Optics for normies as well, like of course Trump is going to say that "this wouldn't have happened on his watch" but at the same time his CPAC speech doesn't tell us what sort of things he actually talked with Putin about nor makes such accusations about Putin or treating Ukraine like it's totally innocent. At least that's how I remember the speech from this past weekend. Plus with Trump out of office right now he has some plausible deniability as it's not happening on his watch.

However when it comes to MTG I don't have as much confidence, after all she's backtracked on her words before.
