I'm a proud owner of a flip phone. I replaced my old one about 3 years ago and I elected to NOT upgrade to a smartphone. I was very slow to get any cellphone at all, and finally got one in 2005. I know how convenient smartphones are, but I refuse to become dependent on one and I see how people become braindead zombies with them, stroking the screen like they are Gollum with his "precious" ring while I'm trying to talk to them. Crazy.
