My husband said last night that the russian army has lost 4,600 men to ukrainian soldiers, and that ukraine has lost only 360 people civillians and soldiers combined. That seems so odd to me.

I would not trust any death count right now. Propaganda from everywhere.
Agreed. I was just curious of anybody had some hard facts that I could show to my husband. I tried to search but even then it's hard to get the truth.
last i heard, about 500 Russians killed and 1200 Ukrainians, including about 100 civilians
Thats propaganda. A couple days ago there was a report by the Russians that they had lost 300 men and that most of the casualties on the Ukrainian side were Nationalists and not civillians or Ukraine army members.
Funny, every war I've seen covered, going back to Vietnam, during urban operations has no shortage of footage from house-to-house fighting. Haven't seen any of that yet. Anyone?
Nope! I have also not been paying much attention to the war. My attention has been on the convoy.
The numbers you mention are what the MSM and the UN is reporting, but I don't think there's a way to really get an accurate count from a single source - the MSM and UN are reporting what Ukraine is telling them I think.
If they’re only letting Ukrainian news through, claiming anything Russia says is false, I’d take that kind of reporting with a grain of salt. Those numbers are entirely too heroic Hollywood action movie for my liking.
I know that, however my husband and his dad are non-stop news watchers. Makes me crazy!
