Our taxable income was lower than in previous years and when I marked (on our return) that we didn't get our abundant $2,100 stimulus check, (I couldn't remember if we had), we were due to get a substantial amount back. Our refund took longer than it was supposed to and it was much, much, much less because of the non-taxable "rescue" payment. We lost thousands thanks to those crooks.
Watch out if you haven't filed yet. They'll adjust it for you if you got one but claimed you didn't. I did receive a notice from the IRS weeks after filing showing that we did get the stimulus. It did say it was not taxable income.
I hate those criminals.
https://www.losthorizons.com/ I think I originally saw this link on GAW. Interesting concepts but sounds too good to be true.
It’s an infomercial.
No issues really with my taxes, but I got my return this year within a week or so of filing. Never gotten one that fast.
Despite that, I'll echo your "I hate those criminals"
