Honestly the more I read about WW2 and Nazi Germany, the more I believe scariest aspect of Nazism was the near complete ideological ( and planning/manufacturing) synchronization between the state and corporations. The atrocities were terrible, but it was the ideological lockstep that enabled the atrocities to be committed at scale.
In that vein- I see Nazi like behaviour in modern corporate America's woke-ness
True, but we are worse. In Germany, the industries submitted and cooperated, but did not get involved in displays of fanaticism. In the U.S. today, industries go out of their way to establish their "woke" credentials...and allow the wokeness to contaminate business practices.
