It really is Good vs. Evil. God vs. Satan.
This is the truth yet people continue to put too much hope in man (The Plan). This world is in a fallen state. We are all sinners and will only be saved by the blood of Jesus. This is the only vialble “plan” for success. Our battle is a spiritual one against against evil principalities. Prayer and obedience is the only way. No “plan” devised by man will work without prayer and obedience. Now, ask yourself, what are we truly here for? To do God’s work by bringing souls to Jesus. This is the only way, the only “plan” to put hope in.
Thank you. This world is headed for the furnace but it could be another thousand years off or it could be tomorrow. I have to daily remind myself that my hope is in the return of Jesus and the resurrection of the dead, not in sinful men that always disappoint. All the evils currently in place are being used for the ultimate good of God's plan that will catch most of the world with its pants down.
People thinking this world can be saved from destruction and turned into some sort of utopia are just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. God sustains us -- the righteous and the unrighteous and all creation -- until the day of judgment. He will end things before we can destroy ourselves.
