It won’t matter. Hospitals will still mandate it because they were trying to do so for influenza. It’s insurance they pay toward bonding their employees. It’s cheaper if they don’t have to pay an insurer for the risk of a nurse getting a patient sick.
For people who are extremely fragile, having a nurse vaccinated was always the goal.
Now it’s even worse for nurses because Covid is over. We have too many nurses, we are sending people home every day. There is no nursing shortage, at least for most hospitals. City is still a little busy but give it six months and for cheaper insurance rates they will get rid of vaccine free nurses.
Plus, going forward, they won’t hire anyone without it. That’s just what I hear, anyway.
i'd like to point out that the covid vax is NOT A VACCINE, and no one knows how long it will "work" or protect", which is also does not do. So this all makes no sense at all.
