I’m seeing a disturbing narrative here and there on conservative websites that states that “Taiwan is some type of secret global elites money laundering/child trafficking operation that operates just like the Ukraine”.

I’ve never seen ANY evidence of this. The only thing Taiwan is guilty of is embarrassing mainland China because the Taiwanese were able to develop their economy and build better corporations than those of mainline China. From a global perspective, the Taiwanese are only guilty of is being better at producing high performance microchips than anywhere else in the world.

Taiwan’s success is an embarrassment to mainland China and that’s why Beijing thinks that Taiwan must be crushed.

I think it’s more than likely that if you see anyone claiming that: “Taiwan should be the next step in dismantling the tools of the deep state”, that you are looking at Chinese Communist party propaganda planted in order to justify an invasion of Taiwan.

If the Chinese communist party can take over Taiwan and control the production of Taiwanese computer chips they will likely use that as a weapon.
