The problem for the Dems is they weren’t listening to his positions very closely until it was too late. As far back as 1988 he was giving voice to an America First perspective. But instead of China, Japan was his target.
What’s interesting to me is how fast the Establishment of both parties turned on him as soon as he announced his candidacy. And how hard they have gone after him.
