IMO, there is an agenda to shock the sleepers awake in the USA by intentionally isolating the US from the rest of the world. Trade, finance, will continue among all the world’s countries with the exception of the US. Essentially, the US will be strategically squeezed out. The world will watch as the US Empire embarrassingly continues its decline while its people remain utterly clueless, trapped in a disinformation bubble of their own making. At some point, when the shit really hits the fan, the US dollar will no longer be the world’s reserve currency (world nations are already decoupling from the US petrodollar). The US will be left high and dry, and clueless.
