Why would they even torture him with a ventilator if he "was going to die tonight or tomorrow"?
Jim Breuer told an eye opening story on JRE about a friend of his that got Covid and ended up on a ventilator. He said that the hospital told them he would die but would not let family see him. They hired a private doctor who they managed to get into the hospital to see the patient and the Doc found that he was completely dehydrated, they were not feeding him and they had stopped administering his prescriptions. Essentially they were killing him.
The private doc got him rehydrated and back on his medications and he rapidly got better and was released from hospital. Lots of damage done though.
Unfortunately I do not have any advice other than seeing if you can find some free professional legal advice or assistance ASAP. Surely they can't keep family from seeing him (and slipping him some Ivermectin)? I don't see how they can justify having medical staff exposed to him but not family. Especially if he's going to pass away.
Does your friend have family or friends nearby? Is the hospital preventing people from seeing him?
Was he sick before he went to the hospital? Was he there for other reasons and ended up testing positive? I'm just wondering how he ended up being admitted and put on the vent in the first place.
I went to the ER with 40% blood oxygen… they tried a CPAP mask first and it brought me back up to 99%. After that they almost vented me because I was taking 40 breathes per minute and I was warned to ‘slow it down or else the vent.’ I tried very hard to slow down and succeeded. I got remdesivir for 5 days and was fine. I’m also young, married, and pregnant…. They probably wanted to keep me off the vent at all costs.
But this… they are trying to kill this man. Why won’t a simple oxygen mask work for him? It’s the vent + remdesivir together that kill!!!
ALSO: IF YOU CARRY A LADDER ALMOST ANY PLACE WILL LET YOU IN.
Looks like it’s only for people who already are at stage 3 renal impairment: “… with estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) < 30…”
I told them to monitor my organ function daily via bloodwork and they did everyday at 5am. I was in the ICU for 10 days but only on remdesivir for 5 so they would have caught something before I was discharged.
Many hospitals don't allow family members to visit at all. Almost all are following the dangerous and destructive guideline set up by the CDC.
My father was in the hospital a few months ago (not COVID, but for his congestive heart failure) and they didn't allow anyone to see him...kept stating it was hospital protocol because of COVID, though he didn't have it. He was admitted for almost two weeks.
We could only communicate with him on his phone and to the nurses and doctors this way. The hospital experience these days is horrifying for all.
So very sorry to hear about Gerald Roy and his situation.
I don't think he would be able to talk if on the vent...the nurse could not be telling the truth.
This is so incredibly sad.

I hope your friend pulls through.
Good Lord, this is repulsive and vile to the core!
Extra Government covid $$$ for every patient treated with ventilator.

You should have your kidneys checked, remdesivir is known to damage them. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34787281/
