Yet they seem to be hyper obsessed with it.

With influencing it, with knowing it, with fostering it.

You know, I don't buy into a lot of the theories that people bring forth but the one thing I do see is that a population too addicted to pleasure (of all sorts) tends to focus on those pleasures, and if you distract children from a young enough age by fostering such an addiction as this, they don't learn important things. Especially when schools are so focused on this.

It does warrant careful discussion, but unfortunately neither side will be willing to hear the other's reasons or excuses.

Tough. Actually it's a major shame they've succeeded so well in dividing us. It makes every possible solution and compromise out of reach.
