Found out something interesting whilst watching a link from another post here, the complete yellow armband is in reference to A Hitler. Will try and source better info from where it comes etc.

As best I can tell the solid yellow armband often seen in Ukraine by the far right derives from the Waffen SS use of it, moar: https://www.reddickmilitaria.com/nazi-armbands/nazi-waffen-ss-armband-cotton/
