We have a few restaurants that use QR code menus. Most of them have a flyer with the code or something 'glued' to the table. We ALWAYS ask for a paper menu and only once have we been denied that request.

It's bad on their part to assume everyone has a smartphone. I, for one, don't ...for the above-given reasons. It's a pocket-sized Big Brother.
They don't need a QR code for all this. The mere fact that your phone is on is all they need. They more likely will deny you order for steak today.
I have never seen anyone utilize this. Pretty sure everyone but gen z thinks it’s retarded and annoying
Had this happen at a "Big Bowl".
They brought the menus over and took our order.
Because I said otherwise I would walk out.
