My guess is this is how they are able to actually spread the virus around the world. Never made sense to me the proposed "natural spread". Every country held for ransom. What a con!
I think most if not all man created/ modified bio-agents suffer reversion (a return to natural state) rather quickly preventing any real threat of a natural spread. Now, if one had labs in 30 countries to release from it could be made to look like a natural spread. There would be some variation in the makeup of the released bio-agent from lab to lab...variants.
