It's an excellent book, and because of it I now have quite a collection of books on the dark ages, people of the steppes from 2000 BC to 1600 AD, the diaspora of the Jews, the rise of Islam. The great enmity of certain Muslims for the Jews... I feel this is where a lot of stories started. Almost all we know about the Khazars rests on very few sources, making them perfect for speculation. But they were only important for about 400 years. Call out the Rothschilds if you hate Jewish bankers, you can examine each as historical figures with documentation. I have yet to see the family tree actually tying any modern tycoon to dark ages illiterate nomads.
Is this considered a conspiracy theory? Very interesting stuff.
