I think there was a different plan instead of Putin taking military action. He crossed their plans, whatever sinister bullshit they were preparing for us.
I didn't mean this to imply that Putin is part of their nonsense, but rather only to show that something was up before the Ukraine thing occurred.
I understood it exactly like that.
It seems they, Ukraine, were planning an offensive into Donbas to retake the breakaway states upwards of a few months ago. It would explain why so much of Ukraines fighting force was clustered near the Donbas and how they ended getting encircled to begin with. These were rumors when I first heard but it seems the Russians have discovered documents that confirm this.
