If a nation claimed this (Russia) I would say well then show us what you're talking about. You make the claim, show the proof.
Instead, instant denial followed by deflection and claims of misinformation.

Ask Russia to present co-opted evidence call them on their bluff or to present the goods.
The fact that they are instantly denouncing Russia without even entertaining the thought only increases tensions.
