Apparently some people with ties to the Nobel Prize committee didn't think it was a good idea for him to get the prize:

The irony is that they gave it to him for having done nothing (very early on in their presidency) and he ended up making the proud (by bombing the stuffing out of everyone and their cousin). It made them look like the idiots that they are. By the way, their regret was "Fact Checked False" by Snopes so we know it's almost certainly true.

Taking a page from 1984, if Obama is worthy of a Peace prize, than War truly is Peace to them.
