I am a military brat, and grew up mostly in Germany in the late 60s and 70s. At that time most of the bases we lived at did not have American TV, so I learned to do other things, like read and think. Fast forward to our return to the US in 1977, and my parents have been glued to the TV since. TV is the devil.
My parents didn't talk to us much. I used to wish to play school but I didn't have materials. TV was a nice escape from the chaos of my childhood home & the only entertainment. But yes it is!!
I was out getting dinner and sat at the bar, while waiting for a table. TV displays a promo for something about 1,000 sisters. I basically cried out in horror that that's not a real show! Fucking clown world!! Guy nearby laughed and agreed. Our society is fucked because of talmudvision.
oh thanks, I don't get that show either. I'm really not a TV person.
I hate to say it but my mom plopped me in front of the TV at a very young age. I cannot stand the big Bang theory.
