I think that's pretty common in the business world with private jets. Even people who own their own Jets when they're not using them they loan them out and vice versa because it keeps the jet functioning properly. I guess leaving them grounded does a lot more damage than keeping them flying.

It's more expensive to keep them on the tarmac, they are not earning any revenue sitting in a hangar.
Most jets are leased, they are owned by the big leasing, insurance companies and shell companies.
Emergency landings like this are more common than people are aware of, its no big deal.
I have one word for this.... Sabotage?
Doubt it. Probably just. Shitty plane. Figure a SAM and a coverup would be a better alternative.
