Heard an interview with Dr Zelenko saying he believes the flu is another deep state invention.
Most beleive the reason we didn’t see any flu during Covid is because they labeled flu as Covid but Zelenko said no. He tested all his patients for flu and there was none present.
This suggests that whoever “they” are did not release a flu strain that year.
Wouldn't surprise me at all.

Just an FYI. . .the flu shot this year did not match the circulating strain. (Just more toxic soup to strain people's fragile immune systems. Or maybe they really wanted a "Dark Winter.")

I listened to the clip and I think it's a stretch to say he meant that they CREATE the new strain each year. I think it's pretty clear in the context of the conversation and the other stuff he says that they do change the strain that is targeted by the vaccine.
