I think if there was assurance that voter ID's could be distributed freely then that pushpack would decrease. I can tell you that that's where my resistance comes from, so that's the only thing keeping me from coming to your side.
I'm fighting against voter IDs for this reason. To me it seems a pretty reasonable condition to have them be free and easily obtained by legal citizens
You seem okay with enslaving your fellow man for scraps of paper but not okay with asking for someone to prove they're real.
Why?
Again, I am find with requiring a voter ID, but I will not support them if tthe implementation means that some people will have to pay an extra fee to vote. Voting should be free.
Which is why I continue using the words "additional" and "extra." Taxes suck for everyone. Nobody should have to pay even a single penny extra to vote.
And again, ID is fine, it just needs to be freely distributed to each of the legal/eligible citizens.
How is this so hard for you to grasp lol. I have to believe you're dicking with me
No, not at all. I'm saying that for those who don't currently meet voter ID requirements, in order to get them they would have an added cost. Doesn't matter if you're black, white, rich or poor. If you have to pay extra in order to vote, I'm against it.
It doesn't have anything to do with race or poverty line. Paying to vote isn't right.
I actually never presented my ID myself. I registered online, filled out my name, and got a QR code. Theoretically I could have easily printed it out and given it to someone else. They never checked my ID for either dose.
I haven't said anything about forcing people to take poison, but if you want to have a discussion about that too I'm happy to.

The State of Georgia (one of the states being called "racist" for requiring voter ID) makes COMPLETELY FREE VOTER ID available to ALL VOTERS
I'll give you the link since you can't seem to do this basic research for yourself.
https://dds.georgia.gov/voter
I’m aware of this information already. Is this true for every state on a national level? Because one state isn’t enough.
Also, I’m not using the racism argument. I’m just explaining what that argument is rooted from.
If you take race completely out of the equation, I still am against voter ID if it means some people will have to pay extra in order to vote.
How about instead of advocating against voter ID, advocate for free voter ID in every state?
I would support free voter ID in every state, just like GA has.
Yup I’m absolutely in favor of that

This shouldn't be this difficult lol
