You're a four-leaf clover, today's baggers (when you can find one) have not been trained to bag properly & I like to bag my items depending on where in the house I'm taking those items. And clearly baggers don't know where I put my stuff so it's better and easier to do it myself
Yeah I refuse to bag anything at this point, because I'm the customer not their worker. My point is that mixing stuff is less critical now, but for sure could be improved on if you care enough to do so. Not saying your preferences should change, just saying I don't like being treated as free help and refuse to go to places that make me self-bag large amounts of groceries. A bag or two, sure that's often pretty quick.
What bugs me nowadays is the way my CVS is doing things. They installed 2 new self checkouts and the actual person that's working just stands around and directs you to one of them. Well if I just picked up a couple things I want to pay cash for it and the employee is just standing there, so I say, no I want to pay cash. Then they have to actually do their jobs.
My worst offender is at Walmart, they have like 5 people standing around all doing nothing watching people check themselves out. I complained one time when they had all the checkout lanes closed and some self-righteous team leader for the group told me they would have done it at the self-checkout for me if I asked. LOL, Okay.. where is that posted? I stopped going there except for one thing I haven't found anywhere else.

And those are the same people demanding a $15 minimum wage while simultaneously overseeing the machines that will take their jobs.
