If anyone else in America arrives at work drunk, they are immediately fired.
Their feet wouldn't even hit the ground before they were out on the sidewalk.

Why doesn't some agency do a surprise drug & alcohol test of everyone in Congress. Just walk in, lock the doors and announce an immediate, mandatory drug & alcohol test of each lawmaker.

We'd quickly discover that at least 10 out of 530 +/- congressmen are working while drunk, over 0.1 blood alcohol level. We'd also find congressmen who are high on drugs while working.
