I'm afraid you're right. Of course, I live in a true blue metro area....but I don't see 85%+ of tards surrounding me EVER changing their mind about much of anything, let alone many of the topics/issues discussed with an open, critically thinking mind in THIS forum.

That, possibly more than anything else, depresses the shit out of me...and makes me wonder how we could ever rebuild this country (assuming the chance ever comes along again).
