600 lbs of mastiff and newfie helps keep my place pretty secure, although a donkey isn't a bad idea either.

Truth. But from experience, German shepherds are one of the most loyal dogs ever. My grandparents have had them since I was teeny tiny, and they'll rip off someone's face if they look at their owner or any child funny. Feircly protective. But also the right one is a teddy bear when they're not terrifying lol. I love German shepherds!
