I have a friend locally that about 3-4y ago bought a piece of land perfect for homesteading and it had all sorts of off grid infrastructure. He's a judge, she's a lawyer. I have thought of this several times in the last few days.... They didn't strike me as the homesteading type but I shrugged it off at the time. Now that my eyes are open...I'm wondering what they might be involved in.
