The government is supposed to represent the people. That's our system. That's what's in the Constitution. If it's failing, then either:

• The Constitution is a failed document and we're defending a failed structure
• We, as citizens stopped doing our job and allowed two corrupt political parties to select our politicians for us by controlling primary elections, rigging those to give us two options they approved of and asking us to pick one.

I don't think the Constitution is a failed document. It worked for 200+ years. So that means the solution is we need to start getting a lot more active in our government.

Support the Convention of the States effort:

• Amend the Constitution to establish term limits
• Implement ranked choice voting to give 3rd parties a fighting chance
• Require all bills to be read in full on the floor of the House or Senate prior to a vote (that'll stop these 2700-page "omnibus" monstrosities where shit gets snuck in and no one has a clue because no one has read the bill)
• Ban dual-citizens from serving in the Congress, the Presidency or Cabinet, any role in the US military, or any appointed judgeship. If you're going to be a part of our government, it's time to clarify where your loyalties lie. (I'm ok with other federal employees having dual citizenship. It's very helpful in certain situations, but not the positions with the most power)
