I have a problem with these "studies" when they try to compare the total number of cases among vaxxed and unvaxxed. It should be presented as a percentage of the population in each group. For example, if 100 people out of 1000 vaxxed get covid, that's 10% of the group. If 1 out of 10 unvaxxed get covid, that's 10%. But if only the numbers are used to compared, it would seem like the vaxxed are 100 times more likely to be infected. Because there are far more vaxxed people (if we believe their stats), it will usually seem like the risk of getting infected, or hospitalized, or dying, from covid is higher for the vaxxed group, if only the total numbers are used.
It's a "valid observation" that kinda throws water on the entire article, wouldn't you say?
The article compares values without taking into account percentages of the population that are vaxxed vs unvaxxed. Never mind the fact that it's mostly the young and healthy who are unvaccinated.. these kinds of clickbait articles have been going around for a while.
